Was back in town visiting college buddies this weekend and checked out Lacha Somtum. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while with the pork jerky and duck laarb being standouts. For a party of 7 it came out to ~$25/pp with leftovers to spare.
I’m adding it to my rotation with Siam Sunset and Sanamluang, but always looking for new suggestions next time I’m back!

Definitely an underrated Thai place that doesn’t get enough love. Last week I passed by Ruen Pair and it was busy as always, yet I love Lacha Somtum just as much and it was pretty empty 🙁

Pork jerky is on my list for my death row meal if I had a last meal. So fucking good and that made my mouth water.

I looove this place! Their papaya salad and nam tok are some of our favorites. Totally underrated! I enjoyed the food there better than in Ruen Pair.
Sweet Rice in Gardena is also a gem for Thai food.
You should mind your business more often.
My favorite Thai restaurant for delivery! Other restaurants have a higher drop-off in quality between dine in and takeout. LS is always dank on arrival.
This place is legit coz they target local Thai.
